I received the sweetest Valentine’s Day card yesterday, and it wasn’t even addressed to me.
It came from an eight-year-old girl named Ellica, written to her mom, and it completely made my day.
Here’s what it said…

Ellica’s list is impressively detailed — it’s clear she expects some serious baking to happen. Moms, take note: you’ve been given a very specific Valentine’s assignment.
Little moments like this remind me why kids are so delightful. Ellica’s thoughtfulness and excitement are impossible not to smile at.
