Healthier Breakfast
The holidays are winding down and many of us are ready to return to healthier habits. After weeks of treats, a wholesome breakfast helps set the tone for the day. Smoothies are a longtime favorite in my home for quick, nutritious mornings, and lately I’ve been enjoying smoothie bowls — the same great flavors in a thicker, more satisfying format.
For a simple, delicious start, this chocolate-raspberry-banana combination is hard to beat. It’s rich, fruity and filling — a perfect way to ease back into a routine without sacrificing flavor.

Smoothie Bowls
Smoothie bowls have been popular for good reason: they take just minutes to prepare and turn a regular smoothie into a meal. The thicker texture supports toppings like fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, creating balance and extra satisfaction.
Some mornings I’m in a rush, but I also enjoy those slower moments when I can savor breakfast. This bowl’s blend of chocolate, raspberries and banana offers both comfort and energy to start the day right.
This version gets its chocolate-raspberry flavor from perfectlyfree raspberry chocolate bites, whose creamy chocolate centers and bright raspberry coating add a delightful twist.

perfectlyfree
perfectlyfree bites are a convenient way to add flavor without extra fuss. They’re portioned small (about 30 calories or less per bite) and come in a variety of flavors. A few qualities I appreciate:
- Non-GMO
- Top 8 allergen free
- Certified gluten-free
They bring a delicious, indulgent note to this smoothie bowl while keeping things simple.

Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie Bowl
This smoothie bowl is fast and easy. Add the ingredients to a high-powered blender, blend to a thick, spoonable consistency, then finish with your favorite toppings.
Pro tip: Freeze your bananas.
Frozen bananas make the bowl extra creamy and thick without diluting the flavor with ice. They also create a satisfying, frosty texture similar to soft-serve.
If you’ve tried perfectlyfree frozen bites, I’d love to hear which flavor you prefer. If not, tell me your go-to smoothie combination — I’m always looking for new ideas.
Happy gluten-free eating!
