If you own an Instant Pot, here are six accessories I regularly use and recommend. They’re affordable, practical, and save time—one of the best benefits of pressure cooking.

2. Instant Pot Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot
A second stainless steel inner pot is invaluable when a recipe requires using the Instant Pot more than once—no need to cool, wash, and wait between steps. Swap pots and keep cooking; you’ll save time and dishes. This is the exact pot I use.
3. Instant Pot Silicone Lid
A silicone lid creates an airtight, spill-proof seal on the stainless steel inner pot, effectively turning the pot into giant, stackable tupperware. It’s perfect for storing leftovers and reheating—just remove the lid, set the inner pot in the Instant Pot, select Keep Warm, and your meal will reheat quickly.
4. Silicone Sealing Rings (2-Pack)
A two-color pack of silicone sealing rings lets you dedicate one color to savory dishes and the other to sweet dishes. This prevents flavor transfer—no more leftover garlic aroma in your cheesecake. I use separate rings for desserts and for meats.
5. Glass Lid
A tempered glass lid is handy when using the Instant Pot as a slow cooker or for recipes where you want to monitor progress without releasing steam. The transparent lid makes it easy to check doneness and to use the pot for non-pressure functions like sauté or keep warm.
6. Springform Pan
A 6-inch springform pan fits nicely in the 3-quart Instant Pot, and 7- or 8-inch versions fit larger models. Springform pans are ideal for cheesecakes, brownies, and even lasagna made in the Instant Pot. They make removing delicate desserts easy and clean.
