Guess what, friends? Today is my 4 year blogging anniversary — wow! It’s hard to believe I’ve been writing this blog nearly every day for four years. Thank you for reading and sharing in my adventures. I’ve loved sharing my life with you. For nostalgia, here’s a link to my very first post: my first post. Have any of you been following since the beginning? A few years back I shared more about my journey to blogging and why I love it.
It’s amazing to look back and see how much has happened since that first entry in 2009. Highlights include:
Working on prerequisites and applying to grad schools — I was accepted to and decided to go to UNC.

Running my first half marathon (and after eight more halves, I’m now training for my first full marathon!).

Moving to North Carolina for grad school — I fell in love with Chapel Hill and with some wonderful friends.

Getting engaged!

Finishing grad school coursework and moving back to DC to complete my dietetic internships.
Getting married!

Graduating with a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from UNC Chapel Hill.

Passing the national exam to become a Registered Dietitian!

Starting my own online nutrition counseling practice, AnneTheRD.com.
It’s fun to revisit these milestones on the blog. Fun fact: this wasn’t my first blog — I used to keep a travel blog while teaching English in Prague for friends and family.
